We highly recommend letting us do the back office work while you grow you business, but we work with the DIY’er as well.
For the Start-Up
If you start your entity correctly, you don’t have to fix it later!
Plan Includes:
- Guidance choosing your entity form (LLC, Corporation, S-Corporation)
- Guidance choosing your tax status
- Creation of applicable company documents
- Creation of entity with state government
- Application for Federal Identification Number
- Application for state sales tax permit (if applicable)
* Excludes state filing fees. Arkansas LLC filing fee is $50. Texas fee is $300. Other states’ fees vary.

Let us do the accounting. You build your business. This plan is usually suitable for a start-up or a business less than two years old.
Plan Includes:
- Selection of proper version of Quickbooks Online.
- Set up of Quickbooks Online, including a customized chart of accounts and set up of bank feeds. We will bill you monthly for the wholesale cost of Quickbooks Online.
- Assessment and set up of additional software tools such as TSheets and Bill Pay.
- Tax Planning tips for your business.
- Monthly bank reconciliations and financials.
- Preparation of 1099’s at year-end.
- Access to advice and resources as needed: sales tax, cash forecasts, state registrations, etc.
- We will prepare your annual federal and state tax returns for an additional fee, usually $750 to $1,250 depending on their complexity.

You aren’t quite ready for a Starter Hippo Plan, but you want to get your accounting set up correctly.
Plan Includes:
- Set up of Quickbooks Online, including a customized chart of accounts and set up of bank feeds.
- Assessment and set up of additional software tools including Bill.com or TSheets.
- 45-minutes of customized training on Quickbooks and other tools.
- Tax Planning tips for your business.
* You’ll be set up on wholesale billing with Quickbooks and other packages.

For the Growing Business
You’re moving and shaking. And you want to do more moving and less shaking. This plan is suitable for a company older than two years with at least $300,000 in revenue.
Plan includes:
- Review of current accounting setup.
- Conversion to Quickbooks Online, if applicable, including customized chart of accounts. We will bill you the wholesale cost of Quickbooks Online.
- Assessment and set up of additional software tools including Bill.com, Hubdoc or TSheets as needed.
- Monthly bank reconciliations and financials.
- Preparation of 1099’s at year-end.
- Tax planning tips and suggestions.
- Access to advice and resources as needed: sales tax, cash forecasts, state registrations, etc.
- We will prepare your annual federal and state tax returns for an additional fee, usually $750 to $1,250 depending on their complexity.

You’ve been in business for a few years now. You feel like your accounting could be a little more streamlined and a lot more informative.
Plan Includes:
- Review of current accounting setup.
- Recommendations for changes to Chart of Accounts.
- Recommendations for process improvements such as online bill pay or other integrations.
- Training on any new tool or process improvements.

We also offer payroll services with our monthly plans. No stress, budget-friendly payroll that is easy for you and your employees to use. And no W-2 fees at year-end!

You’ve grown. You’ve learned. You’re tired. Time to hire some help. Now what?
Plan Includes:
- Creation of an employee manual customizing policies to fit your business and culture
- Employment guide for your business including standard forms and procedures
- Registration for state unemployment and withholding in up to 2 states. Each additional state $75 extra.
- Set up on payroll service including training on service.
- Integration with Quickbooks software.
- Set up of worker’s compensation insurance, if applicable.
